By Stella Nsong, RN O ne positive thing that has come out of the pandemic is the fact that businesses have become more innovative and have found new ways of keeping their employees working, while promoting employee wellness and serving their communities. The pandemic brought on significant economic injury and some businesses will need many years to recover if they stay operational. One thing that has affected many businesses even before the pandemic was the issue of family caregiving. With the pandemic, a newer kind of challenge How Family Friendly Companies Take Care of Their Employees During The Covid-19 Pandemic emerged; thechallengeof sudden, unplanned, and accidental caregiving for many employees who lost the family’s primary caregiver to covid-19. The new challenge has compounded the already existing impact of caregiving to US businesses. According to the AARP public policy, there over forty million unpaid family caregivers in the USA and over sixty percent of them are in the work force. 68% of these family caregivers experience at least one change in employment due to the caregiving needs of a senior loved one, 64%arrive late or leave early causing loss productivity,
