Dan Toussant, Executive Recruiter, is the President/Owner of Dan Toussant & Associates, an executive search business serving the public accounting and privately-held manufacturing industries in Ohio and the Midwest. In the public accounting industry, Dan’s firm focuses on partner-level searches, also handles manager, supervisor and senior accountant hires. In the manufacturing industry, various management needs include financial leader, sales leader, senior scientist, senior engineer, lean executive, human resource executive, and other positions critical to the health and growth of the client company.

Dan offers clients a dual focus of executive-search skill and an internal-HR understanding, having worked 30 years as a strategic Human Resource executive and leader.

He has held corporate managerial training and recruitment responsibilities for publicly traded global manufacturing and electric utility organizations.

As an entrepreneur, Dan established a human resource consulting division within a public accounting firm, providing recruitment of professional talent, leadership development training and coaching, and other HR consulting services, managing that human resource consulting practice for seven years.

As the corporate HR leader, Dan led the recruitment programs in both a hospital and a professional service firm. He also developed an innovative leadership training program for junior partners and managers. He authored a nationally recognized performance coaching system, and served as senior adviser to that system.

Dan Toussant & Associates is a franchise member of Sanford Rose Associates network, the tenth largest search firm in the US and the Americas. The firm also holds memberships in the Ohio Recruiters Association, the Ohio Society of CPAs, the Ohio Manufacturing Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management.

Dan collaborates with and refers candidates to The Interview Doctor, an HR training-coaching collaborative that provides job-interviewing skills coaching to career changers, and smart-hiring strategies to hiring managers.

Dan is an active member of Toastmasters International. He serves on a non-profit board for children and families impacted by incarceration; also co-chairs a program for residents of a detention center for youth who have committed felonies.
